I've just popped this little 6"x6" original painting up in my shop:

"Little Dragonfly and Daisies"

A little fairy with blue-green eyes on a background of bright yellow daisies. She's looking at her dragonfly friend who's stopped by to visit! Right now there's still free worldwide shipping on everything in my shop, including all original paintings (which can save you up to $200 in shipping on some of the big ones!).

I'm also saying goodbye to my old 80s style kitchen tonight, because tomorrow we are ripping it out and putting in a new one! Woo hoo!

Free Shipping on all art prints at ArtByJaz.com

I love selling through Etsy and eBay, but I really want my customers to buy directly through my website, so I've been thinking of a way that I can direct them there, and I thought that offering FREE SHIPPING (Worldwide!) in my online store only would be the best way to do it. Everyone hates paying for shipping don't they? I do. My eyes seriously light up when my favourite sites offer free shipping. So there you go. 

Free shipping on EVERYTHING in my store except original paintings. 

The shipping on my originals can cost anywhere from $15 - $550 depending on where I'm sending them, so it wouldn't work out to offer free shipping on those. Everything else though - postcard sets, signed art prints, ACEO cards etc - will all be shipped anywhere FREE.

It's raining here today, so our open home was a bit of a flop this morning.  :(

But...it's perfect weather for painting. So I'm going to be getting some print orders together this afternoon and then hopefully getting the brushes out!

"Little Tree Nymph" + Saturday Night Sketches

It's Saturday night, so I've given myself permission to stay up late and paint. Although my eyes are starting to blur a little, so it's probably time to go to bed. Just before that though, I wanted to share my new "Little Tree Nymph" painting that I finished today.

The original is 8"x8" on stretched canvas - which means it's ready to hang straight on the wall. Or sit on a bookshelf, or desk. Easy. At the moment the only way to purchase it is HERE on my Facebook page by commenting 'Sold' under the photo. First in, best dressed.

Tonight, while waiting for a couple of canvasses to dry, I've been sketching/doodling with pencil and paint on canvas. Not sure where this one is going yet? 

What's going on here? Rainbows, birds, clouds raining diamonds? Time for bed? Probably yes.
